Report: Hazard eager to expedite Real Madrid transfer
Eden Hazard won't be a Chelsea player for much longer if he gets his way.
The Belgian superstar has notified Chelsea officials of his desire to complete his transfer to Real Madrid as soon as possible, Liam Twomey and Julien Laurens of ESPN FC report.
Along with reportedly already searching for a home and schools in the Spanish capital, Hazard has apparently been in touch with Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane and forward Karim Benzema in anticipation of joining Los Blancos.
Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia has been notified of Hazard's request and the club has accepted the fact that the 28-year-old will not return, but the Blues continue to hold firm on their €100-million estimation, Twomey and Laurens note.

Thus far, Real Madrid have supposedly shown no indication that they will match Chelsea's valuation despite reports that the La Liga giants are prepared to make a significant investment in new players following a disappointing season.
Reports in Spain suggest Real Madrid are eager to unveil Hazard on June 2 - a day after the Champions League final - in an effort to lift supporters' spirits.
As it stands, Chelsea would not be able to spend the funds on new players following FIFA's recent decision to uphold the English outfit's two-window transfer ban for violating youth transfer rules. However, the club intends to appeal the decision to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, who could potentially overturn or at least freeze the ban.
Since joining Chelsea from French side Lille in 2012, Hazard has played a pivotal role in helping the club win the Europa League, and two Premier League titles.
