David De Gea was substituted 60 minutes into Spain's Euro 2020 qualifier against Sweden on Tuesday with a suspected hamstring problem.
The goalkeeper was forced off when he appeared to suffer the injury after taking a goal kick. Kepa Arrizabalaga was brought on in De Gea's stead.
De Gea's Manchester United are set to lock horns with rivals Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday.
De Gea had arguably pulled off the save of the match when he acrobatically denied Robin Quaison in the opening half, but he was unable to prevent Marcus Berg's close-range header after 51 minutes.
Spain needed to avoid defeat in Solna to qualify for Euro 2020 and completed the job - just - thanks to Rodrigo's dramatic 92nd-minute equalizer.
