Arsenal have reminded four players of their responsibilities after they were caught ignoring government guidelines for social distancing during the coronavirus lockdown, according to PA Media.
Alexandre Lacazette, Nicolas Pepe, Granit Xhaka, and David Luiz are reportedly the latest Premier League stars accused of defying physical distancing guidelines since the season was suspended on March 12.
The four players are accused of flouting the government's guidelines in three separate incidents. Xhaka and Luiz were allegedly at a park together in north London, while Pepe was apparently caught on video playing football with friends. Lacazette is accused of standing too close to a valet driver, PA Media reports.
Members of Arsenal's north London rivals Tottenham have previously committed multiple similar violations. Spurs manager Jose Mourinho admitted he was wrong to hold an outdoor training session earlier in April, while Serge Aurier and Moussa Sissoko were seen practicing in a park this week.
Aston Villa star Jack Grealish and Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount have also received warnings over similar conduct.
Perhaps the most controversial incident, however, featured Manchester City defender Kyle Walker, who was accused of hosting a party with two sex workers earlier in April.
