Fulham promoted to Premier League, continuing yo-yo trend
Fulham were promoted to the Premier League following Tuesday's 3-0 win over Preston North End.
The Cottagers' ascent means they'll change leagues for a fifth consecutive season, arguably rubber-stamping their reputation as the quintessential yo-yo team between England's top two divisions.

And the chief protagonist of their promotion campaign, Aleksandar Mitrovic, may be the poster boy for players who struggle to recreate their excellent Championship form in the first tier. The Serbian marksman has already scored an obscene 40 goals this term, comfortably trumping the previous Championship record of 33 strikes set by Brentford's Ivan Toney last season.
Overall, he's logged 82 goals across 122 Championship appearances. His tally in the Premier League with Newcastle United and Fulham is 24 goals over 104 outings.
In addition to Mitrovic's goalscoring exploits, the performances of dead-ball expert Harry Wilson, Liverpool-bound teenager Fabio Carvalho, and Congolese playmaker Neeskens Kebano have also fueled Fulham's instant return to the Premier League.
There's also a redemption tale in who's overseen Fulham's rise. Marco Silva - who appeared to inflict irreparable damage on his managerial career after a miserable 18 months at Everton - took the reins after the popular Scott Parker was tempted to Bournemouth last summer. Silva promptly created an attacking juggernaut, earning himself another crack in the Premier League.
