Son commits to Spurs amid reported Saudi interest
Son Heung-Min plans to resume his Tottenham Hotspur career next season despite a reported opportunity to play in Saudi Arabia.
"I have many things to do in (the) Premier League," the 30-year-old said Tuesday, according to South Korean football reporter Sungmo Lee.
"Money doesn't matter to me now, and the pride of playing football, to play in my favourite league is important. I want to play more for Tottenham in (the) Premier League. I'll prepare well when I'm back to Spurs."
Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihad are preparing to launch a bid worth €60 million plus bonuses to sign Son this summer, according to James Olley of ESPN reported earlier Tuesday.
Al-Ittihad were hoping to attract Son with a four-year contract worth €30 million per season, Olley adds.
Tottenham reportedly aren't interested in selling the South Korean forward either, who's been an integral part of the team since his arrival in 2015. He's recorded 145 goals in 371 games for the north London club.
Al-Ittihad have been busy poaching stars from Europe in June, already sealing a deal for Karim Benzema and reportedly landing N'Golo Kante.
