Erik Lamela's brother kidnapped in Buenos Aires
On the eve of his debut for Tottenham, Erik Lamela enduring a terrifying hardship.
"Lamela’s younger brother Axel was kidnapped by gun-toting carjackers near Buenos Aires in Argentina on Friday – just hours before his home Spurs debut against Norwich.
Tottenham officials confirmed £30million-signing Lamela was made aware of the kidnap and the fact his family were forced to hand over £600 to free Axel."
Lamela's family believes Axel was targeted because of the car he drove, a BMW, and not because of his relation to Erik.
