Watch: Superb Salah strike lifts Liverpool past Brighton, into top spot
Liverpool moved into first place in the Premier League after Mohamed Salah scored a sensational winning goal in Saturday's 2-1 comeback victory over Brighton & Hove Albion.
Three minutes after Cody Gakpo's 69th-minute equalizer canceled out Ferdi Kadıoglu's first-half goal, Salah surged into the Brighton box and unleashed a powerful curling strike into the top corner.
The win sees Arne Slot's Reds move two points clear of second-place Manchester City after Pep Guardiola's side suffered its first league defeat of the season with a 2-1 loss at Bournemouth.

"We were outplayed in the first half," Slot said after the win. "We didn't show up at all. The second half the players showed a different attitude and intensity."
He added: "If you face a team like this and are 1-0 down and can come back to a 2-1 win, which in my opinion was deserved, that gives me a lot of confidence. More than the position we are in."
Liverpool have won eight of their opening 10 games of the Premier League season.
The Merseyside club hosts Aston Villa next weekend after a midweek clash with Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League.
