The transfer window may be closed, but the rumors never stop swirling. Check in every day for all the latest buzz from across the soccer world.

Top story: Vini Jr. closing in on new deal

Vinicius Junior is rejecting the promise of riches in Saudi Arabia - at least for the time being. The Brazilian winger has agreed to a new contract with Real Madrid until June 2029, landing a salary increase after going back and forth with the club over the past few months.

Vinicius was seriously considering leaving for Saudi Arabia but only for a short time. As all the offers he received from the Middle East were long-term, the 24-year-old decided to remain in Europe. Madrid became his priority after that. The club and player are only a few minor details away from finalizing the deal. (Relevo)
