Top story: Vinicius close to signing extension

Uncertainty over Vinicius Junior's future is set to end, with the Brazilian reportedly getting close to committing his future to Real Madrid. After being linked with a transfer to Saudi Arabia in recent months, Vinicius looks to put pen to paper on a new five-year contract.

The latest development comes after Madrid officials met with Vinicius' representatives this week to discuss a deal that will earn the winger up to €20 million a season. The deal, which could rise a further €10 million in bonuses, would make him the highest paid player at Madrid. (ESPN)
