Mohamed Salah hints at Basel exit: I want to play for one of the best teams in the world
Basel winger Mohamed Salah says that he eventually wants to leave the Swiss club in favour of playing for one of the world's more prestigious teams.
The 21-year-old is reportedly being monitored by a host of clubs throughout Europe, thanks in large part to his performances against Chelsea in this season's Champions League.
The Egyptian scored the winning goal against the Blues in midweek to go along with another marker in the first meeting between the two sides, and has now been quoted by Sky Sports as saying that he dreams of a high-profile transfer.
Tottenham and Liverpool have already been linked with a potential move, but it seems the youngster has more lofty ambitions.
"I want to play for one of the best teams in the world," Salah is quoted as saying in The Sun
"My favourites are Real Madrid, Manchester United and Chelsea."
Dream big, kid.
