Former United player Giles on van Persie: He's a 'prat' who doesn't try hard
Robin van Persie has had plenty to say about the current situation at Old Trafford in the wake of Manchester United's 2-0 Champions League loss to Olympiacos on Tuesday.
Apparently, his comments have rubbed some people the wrong way.
Former United midfielder Johnny Giles, now an analyst for Irish television station RTE, labelled the Dutchman a 'prat' on Wednesday in response to van Persie's claims that his teammates are making life more difficult for him by occupying his preferred space on the pitch.
