Wayne Rooney: Strong Weekend Performance

Rooney turned in a two-goal performance on Saturday that prompted manager David Moyes to hint that the captain's armband may be his permanently, reports Sky Sports.

Analysis:

Manchester United took all three points against West Ham thanks to two goals from Rooney, one of which was nearly from half field and caught the goalkeeper off of his line. Moyes said that Rooney has led by example all season.
