Cech, 31, sustained the injury in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final against Atletico Madrid last month.
With on-loan goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois set to return from his stint with Atletico at the end of the season, it is possible that we have seen the last of Cech as the main man between the sticks at Stamford Bridge.
