QPR secures promotion to Premier League

Down to 10 men, it didn't look good for QPR.

Derby County controlled the play in their championship play-off, with an enticing spot in the Premier League on the line. 

Things got worse for the Londoners when Gary O'Neil was sent off for a rash challenge just outside of the penalty area.

Derby continued to press, but it was QPR that found the lone goal in a riveting game. Bobby Zamora, a substitute, scored the winner, securing QPR a place in the Premier League.
