PSG confirms David Luiz signing

Paris Saint-Germain made it official on Friday, announcing the signing of Brazilian defender David Luiz. 

Luiz is currently with the Brazilian national team at the World Cup. The 27-year-old immediately signed a five-year contract after completing his move to Paris. 

The French giants didn't disclose the fee they paid for the player affectionately known as 'Sideshow Bob,' but reports indicate Chelsea will receive £50 million, which would be a world record for a defender.
