In news that will surely put smiles on the faces of Aston Villa supporters, Christian Benteke reportedly took part in "light training" during the club's open training session in Dallas on Wednesday.
The 23-year-old striker has been sidelined since rupturing his Achilles tendon in April, an injury that required surgery and ruled him out of Belgium's World Cup squad.
In addition to the light training, Benteke signed autographs for those in attendance and also posed for pictures.
Before suffering the injury, Benteke notched 10 goals and two assists in 24 appearances during Aston Villa's 2013-14 Premier League campaign.
