Ronaldo on returning to Manchester United one day: 'I never know, you never know'
It's been over five years since Cristiano Ronaldo made the move from Old Trafford to the Santiago Bernabeu, which is almost as much time as the Portuguese phenom spent at Manchester United. And although he's signed with Real Madrid until 2018, it seems as though "CR7" isn't ruling out a return to his former club.
"I love Manchester, to be back, I never know, you never know" Ronaldo told MUTV. "Of course I'm happy at Real Madrid, it's my home, it's my club but Manchester treat me unbelievable so we never know."
His comments come as Real Madrid get set to face Manchester United on Saturday night. The match, which is being hosted at Michigan Stadium, will break the record attendance for a soccer match in the United States as 109,000 tickets have reportedly been purchased. Ronaldo, however, will not take the pitch as he continues to recover from a knee injury.
