Following 90 minutes of entertaining football that saw Mark Noble miss a penalty as well as two red cards, Tottenham finally broke the deadlock in their opening Premier League fixture at West Ham.

The goal came courtesy of Dier, who somehow ended higher up the pitch than any other Tottenham player, when he received an excellent through ball from Andros Townsend, and comfortably cut around Adrian before poking home the match's lone goal.
