Report: Marouane Fellaini suffers ankle ligament injury during training
Manchester United's plans to sell Marouane Fellaini before the close of the transfer window might be derailed.
The midfielder was spotted wearing a protective boot and using crutches after training on Wednesday, according to the Daily Mail.
Adam Crafton reports the club fears Fellaini suffered ligament damage to his ankle. Further tests are imminent, however.
Fellaini was coveted by Napoli this summer, with the Italian club seeking to take 26-year-old on loan.
That deal could be scuppered by this injury, however, depending on how severe it is.
