QPR sign Eduardo Vargas on season-long loan from Napoli
Following an impressive showing at the World Cup in which he notched one goal and two assists to help Chile reach the round of 16, Eduardo Vargas will spend his next season on loan at Queens Park Rangers.

The deal marks Vargas' third loan since Napoli acquired him from Universidad de Chile for a reported £11.5 million in 2011. After struggling to break into the Italian club's starting XI – struggling is an understatement as he's never once started a Serie A match – he was loaned to Gremio at the beginning of 2013 before being loaned to Valencia in January.
There's something of a Chilean revolution going on at Loftus Road as Vargas will join fellow Chilean Mauricio Isla, who QPR signed on loan from Juventus earlier this month.
"I've spoken to Mauricio a lot and he said it's a great, relaxed environment to work in, with a fantastic squad of players," said Vargas about joining QPR.
"The Premier League is the best in the world, the most exciting in the world, and I am looking forward to competing in what is a super-competitive division."
While Vargas might be looking forward to the opportunity, QPR surely isn't the club many people saw him at back in 2011, when he was widely regarded as one of the most promising strikers in South American football along with Neymar. However, at the young age of 24, there's still time for him to find his footing and, to be fair, Napoli haven't given him the shot he probably deserves.
