Celtic announced the signing of Swedish striker John Guidetti on Thursday, bringing in the 22-year-old on a season-long loan from Manchester City.
Guidetti, who joined the youth program at City as a 16-year-old, has yet to break into the senior squad, instead being sent out on a series of loans. After stops at Burnley, Feyenoord, and Stoke City, he will get the opportunity to impress with the reigning Scottish champions.
His best season to date came during his loan spell in the Netherlands, when he scored 20 goals in just 23 appearances during the 2011-12 campaign.
Celtic manager Ronny Deila will obvioulsy be hoping Guidetti can replicate that form this season.
