Loic Remy claims Liverpool was dishonest about alleged medical
Chelsea striker Loic Remy has accused Liverpool of being dishonest when he reportedly failed a medical with the Merseyside club during the summer.
A deal between Remy and Liverpool looked imminent until the club pulled out at the last second after saying there was a problem with his medical. It was never revealed what exactly prevented the Frenchman from completing the transfer from Queens Park Rangers.
"I did not understand Liverpool's decision. It was not very honest from their side," Remy told French publication Telefoot, The Guardian.
"I was not scared. I know exactly what I have, I met all the specialists in the world. A lot of players share the same situation as mine and Liverpool know it."
Remy eventually signed with Chelsea shortly before the summer transfer window closed.
He has yet to make his debut for The Blues, but could feature in their weekend clash against Swansea City.
