Younes Kaboul named as Tottenham's new captain
The armband at Tottenham has a new home. Manager Mauricio Pochettino appointed a new captain for his side on Monday, along with a pair of fresh vice-captains.
Mauricio has announced that Younes Kaboul has been named our new Club captain with Hugo Lloris and Emmanuel Adebayor as vice-captains.

While Kaboul might not be the obvious candidate for the captaincy due to the fact he's not guaranteed a spot in Tottenham's starting XI, don't forget that clubs like Liverpool and Arsenal have captains who don't start regularly in Steven Gerrard and Mikel Arteta, respectively.
Also, the appointment of Adebayor as vice-captain should speak volumes about how far he's progressed in terms of maturity and how well respected he is within the dressing room at White Hart Lane.
