Wayne Rooney says 'everyone's speaking Spanish' in Manchester United's dressing room
¡Todos están hablando español!
The summer transfer window saw Manchester United bring in a number of Spanish-speaking players, including Argentinians Angel di Maria and Marcos Rojo, Spaniard Ander Herrera and Colombian Radamel Falcao.
As a result, there's obviously a far greater deal of Spanish being spoken inside United's dressing room than there was last season, something Wayne Rooney addressed while speaking to Sky Sports.
"You get in the dressing room and everyone's speaking Spanish!" Rooney said, via the Daily Mail. "English is getting pushed aside a bit. All the senior players are helping the new lads settle in too and there's a lot of foreign players so they can help each other too.
"The manager makes sure the players are speaking English as well, and the club make sure things are put in place for them to adapt to life in England."
Before the season started, Juan Mata, another player whose native language is Spanish, revealed Louis van Gaal was ordering players to communicate in English.
