Liverpool not worried about Raheem Sterling's alleged nightclub visit
Liverpool will apparently take no action against Raheem Sterling after reports surfaced that he visited a London nightclub upon returning from England's 1-0 away win over Estonia.
Sterling has come under heavy criticism for asking manager Roy Hodgson to be rested ahead of the match, in which he featured as a substitute after replacing Jordan Henderson in the 64th minute. Matters then became worse when reports surfaced that he had visited a nightclub upon returning to England that same day.
However, The Guardian's Dominic Fifield says Liverpool aren't bothered by Sterling's alleged visit to Cirque le Soir, a nightclub located near London's Carnaby Street, as the club had granted him time off due to his international commitments. No rules were broken and the 19-year-old attended Liverpool's training session at Melwood last Wednesday.
Liverpool's dramatic 3-2 win over Queens Park Rangers on Sunday saw Sterling put in a well-rounded performance and help set up the winning goal in the 94th minute.
