Arsene Wenger says a virus appears to be spreading through the Arsenal squad after confirming midfielder Jack Wilshere will miss Tuesday's Champions League fixture.
The illness forced Wilshere to miss Arsenal's weekend clash with Burnley and appears to be similar to the ailment that plagued Aaron Ramsey last week, causing him to start Saturday's Premier League victory as a substitute.
Wilshere was on the verge of a return from a knee injury, but this latest setback will delay his restoration into the starting line-up.
While the English international will miss the encounter, Wenger announced that his team against Anderlecht will be comprised of the same group of players that were available during the weekend.
