Bony, whose previous deal at Liberty Stadium was set to expire in 2017, completed the paperwork while away on international duty with the Ivory Coast.
The Ivorian forward is off to a strong start this Premier League season with four goals and one assist in 11 appearances. They are numbers that have contributed to Swansea sitting fifth in the league table and that have Bony on pace to end with a similar tally to last season, when he registered 16 goals and four assists in 34 appearances.
