VIDEO: Raheem Sterling takes swipe at Federico Fernandez
More Premier League action, more violence.
In a week that's already seen Arsenal's Olivier Giroud receive a red card for a headbutt on Nedum Onuoha and Newcastle's Papiss Cisse assigned a three-match ban following his elbow to Seamus Coleman, Liverpool's 4-1 win over Swansea City on Monday provided Premier League supporters with even more player-on-player assaults.
After being purposely shoved by Federico Fernandez near the corner flag in the second half, Raheem Sterling responded by getting to his feet and taking a swipe at Fernandez directly in front of the linesman.
It's hard to understand how Sterling didn't receive at least a yellow card for his actions.
It's also worth noting that earlier in the match, Shelvey landed an elbow in Emre Can's face in yet another violent move that went unpunished, but could see the Football Association take retrospective action.
