It's a new calendar year, but some things remain the same.
Just ask Yaya Toure, who scored Manchester City's first goal of 2015 in the second half of his side's New Year Day fixture versus Sunderland.
After the ball fell to him just outside the box in the 57th minute, Toure stepped up and one-timed a right-footed rocket into the back of the net that gave former City 'keeper Costel Pantilimon zero time to react.
Toure's recent form has been nothing short of remarkable.
6 - Yaya Toure has now scored in six of his last eight Premier League appearances. Leader.
