Sergio Aguero 'thankful' for Manchester City's signing of Wilfried Bony
Sergio Aguero is excited to work with Wilfried Bony.
Manchester City made the Ivorian striker - currently away at the Africa Cup of Nations - their first signing of the transfer window, and the club's incumbent star is looking forward to playing alongside someone who's proven that he can score goals in the Premier League with Swansea.
"We're always very happy when we get new players," the Argentine told John McAuley of The National. "The idea is always that this is done in the spirit of improving the overall performance of the team.
"Since Wilfried has been playing in England, he should be able to take the pressure of competing in the Premier League. So he will be a very good signing. We're very thankful for this."
Combined, the two men have scored 23 EPL goals this season, and were the league's two highest scorers during the 2014 calendar year.
The rich get richer.
