Tottenham signs teenage midfielder Dele Alli from MK Dons

In what should be the final deal of the transfer window in the Premier League, Tottenham has dipped into League One to pluck out a promising young midfielder from MK Dons.

Alli, 18, joins Spurs on a five-and-a-half year contract, and will return to MK Dons on loan for the remainder of the season.

The transfer fee was not revealed, though at least one report suggests Tottenham had to fork out £5 million for the teenager's signature.
