Wayne Rooney: Missed Penalty

Rooney had a late penalty saved by Simon Mignolet, but Manchester United still won against Liverpool 2-1 on Sunday.

Analysis:

Liverpool was playing a man down when Daley Blind was taken down inside the box. It was Rooney who stepped up to the spot, but was promptly blocked by Mignolet. After the match Rooney said he should have allowed Juan Matta to take the shot in an effort to complete his hat trick of goals in the match.
