A guard of honour will welcome one of Liverpool's greatest players during his final appearance at Anfield on Saturday.
Captain Steven Gerrard will receive the honour in front of the Liverpoool faithful during his final home game before heading across the pond to join the LA Galaxy, sources revealed to Mike Whalley of ESPNFC.
Joining in the tradition will be Liverpool's opponents, Crystal Palace, as both teams will line-up and applaud the 34-year-old during his final entrance into the stadium he's called home since 1998.
Adding to the festive atmosphere at the park is a tifo that will be unveiled in the famous Kop, where fans will hold up cards to reveal an image or message in tribute of their captain.
