Gerrard says goodbye to Liverpool fans: 'I've been dreading this moment'
Steven Gerrard's farewell at Anfield didn't go quite according to plan - thanks a lot, Crystal Palace - but that didn't put too much of a damper on what was a really touching tribute to the Liverpool captain after the match.
Walking out with his three daughters and his teammates, who emerged from the tunnel wearing Gerrard jerseys, the 34-year-old club icon addressed the roughly 45,000 in attendance at the iconic ground.

Of course, there's always the possibility that Gerrard, on his way to the LA Galaxy of Major League Soccer, could return to the only club he's ever known on a loan spell. Right? Well ...
