Report: Nathaniel Clyne to undergo Liverpool medical next week
Liverpool fans will have to wait until next week for the next signing to arrive at Anfield.
Nathaniel Clyne will undergo a medical at the club next week before making his move from Southampton complete, according to Sky Sports.
The teams continue to negotiate a fee for the right-back, but have agreed to an £12.5 million cost with additional payments dependent on Clyne's performances that could reach £15 million.
His arrival will coincide with Glen Johnson's departure, with Clyne expected to assume right-back duties after the 30-year-old was released at the conclusion of the season.
The addition of Clyne continues the trend Liverpool fans must be pleased with as the young England international will become the fifth signing of the summer, joining James Milner, Danny Ings, Roberto Firmino, and Joe Gomez.
