Manchester City have yet to approach VfL Wolfsburg concerning a transfer for midfielder Kevin De Bruyne.
The Bundesliga team confirmed that City have not made a bid for the Belgian international despite various outlets reporting that the 2014 Premier League champs submitted a bid.
"Nothing has arrived here. And neither Kevin nor his agent have told me they want to leave," Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs told German reporters, courtesy of Sky Sports.
City are believed to be preparing a £60 million offer for De Bruyne, who joined the German club after Chelsea sold him for £18 million in January 2014.
The move to Germany has seen De Bruyne thrive after registering 10 goals and 20 assists during the 2014-15 campaign.
