Mourinho mocks Wenger yet again, suggests Arsenal is 'disappointed' with manager

It's no secret that Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho and Arsenal's Arsene Wenger aren't the best of friends.

There have been numerous touchline spats between the pair, but most controversial was when Mourinho described his foe as a "specialist in failure" in 2014, prompting Wenger to label the Portuguese "disrespectful."

On Saturday, when asked by reporters if he was surprised that Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini had been given a new contract, he instead alluded to the Arsenal manager in his response.

"Why? Some other clubs, they have disappointed for 15 years and the manager is the same."

Mourinho has been under the radar this week after his criticism of team doctor Eva Carneiro and the resulting media fallout, but after a disappointing 2-2 home draw to Swansea City, he could have been trying to deflect attention away from his squad.

It has been suggested that the unprovoked attack on Wenger is yet another tactic by Mourinho to lift the pressure on himself and Chelsea.

Arsenal visits Crystal Palace in Sunday's earlier kickoff, while Chelsea travels to Manchester City in the second game of the day.
