Crystal Palace boss Pardew on Yannick Bolasie: He would be 'foolish' to ignore Spurs
Yannick Bolasie has been in glittering form over the past couple of seasons for Crystal Palace, allegedly catching the attention of London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
Alan Pardew could upset some of the Selhurst Park faithful by referring to Spurs as a "bigger club" than Crystal Palace and hinted that he wouldn't stand in the Congolese international's way if he wanted to further his career.
"If any of my players get linked to bigger clubs I wouldn't expect them to (ignore it). It would be a foolish move," he told reporters.
Since moving from Bristol City in 2012, midfielder Bolasie has thrived in southeast London and become a fan favourite.
"Players move a lot in the current world of football, they don't stay at clubs for five, seven years," Pardew added. "You have to keep your options open and I have no problem with that."
A bid of around £25 million is believed to be enough to prize Bolasie away from the Eagles.
