Bournemouth lost its second player in just minutes after winger Max Gradel's leg appeared to buckle in the second half against Leicester City on Saturday.
Gradel fell to the ground and called for a substitution. He was trying to shield the ball from Leicester defender Ritchie De Laet, who caught Gradel from behind.
The injury forced Bournemouth into its third and final substitution of the match.
Only 10 minutes earlier, Bournemouth defender Tyrone Mings was stretchered off after a similar challenge.
