Reading secures loan move for Chelsea's Lucas Piazon

Lucas Piazon will join Reading this season in attempt to get the Chelsea youngster regular playing time.

Chelsea has agreed to a season-long loan agreement with the Championship side as Piazon gets set to embark on his second straight year away from the Blues following last season's loan stint with Eintracht Frankfurt.

"Lucas is a very talented attacking player who can create chances and score goals," Reading manager and former Chelsea player Steve Clark said on the team's website.

"When we spoke I was impressed by both his maturity and desire to prove himself in English football after some loan moves to European leagues. I’m sure Lucas will bring something extra to our squad this season."

The 21-year-old scored two goals in 21 appearances for the Bundesliga side.
