Chelsea' s Oscar expected to return Wednesday vs. Maccabi Tel-Aviv
Midfielder Oscar is expected to play a part in Chelsea's opening match of the Champions League when it faces Maccabi Tel Aviv on Wesnesday.
The Brazilian international has been selected to possibly participate in the fixture, but has not fully recovered from the muscle injury that's kept him out for a month, manager Jose Mourinho revealed to reporters.
The Brazilian international has not appeared in a match for the Blues since the Aug. 8 draw against Swansea City, when he was forced to leave the game early because of the injury.
Chelsea will surely hope his return to the team will provide it with a much-needed boost, as Oscar's absence coincided with an abysmal run of results in the league that's seen Chelsea lose three of its opening five matches.
