Report: Chelsea served notice over Eva Carneiro's dismissal
Lawyers representing Eva Carneiro have served legal papers to Chelsea as the club's former doctor seeks a claim for constructive dismissal, according to various reports.
Unless the two parties can agree to a settlement, the proceedings will most certainly thrust Chelsea into the public at an employment tribunal. Carneiro and the club previously failed to reach an agreement over a severance package.

Jose Mourinho stripped first-team duties away from Carneiro and fellow physio John Fearn. She chose to leave the club shortly thereafter.
The Portuguese manager had already criticised them for running on to the pitch to treat forward Eden Hazard, reducing Chelsea to nine men at a time when the Blues were pushing for a winner against Swansea City.
The Football Association cleared Mourinho of wrongdoing, despite calls from various groups to reprimand the 52-year-old, who allegedly verbally abused Carneiro.
It's another black mark against a club that is currently wallowing in 15th place in the Premier League after 10 matches.
Mourinho, whose job is under threat, received the dreaded vote of confidence from Chelsea. He didn't, however, escape punishment for remarks pertaining to referees, with the FA charging him with misconduct for his language towards officials during the defeat to West Ham earlier this month.
