Report: Chelsea to target Javier Hernandez, Paco Alcacer in January
Chelsea is preparing bids to improve its feeble attack ahead of the upcoming January transfer window.
With a dismal scoring record that's seen them tally just 16 goals in 12 games, the defending Premier League champions are targeting Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez and Paco Alcacer, according to ESPNFC.
The pair represent just two of the names believed to be on Chelsea's list, as the club targets a striker to offset the struggles of its current crop of forwards. Diego Costa, Radamel Falcao, and Loic Remy have combined for just three goals in the Premier League
Hernandez has revived his career during his current loan spell with Bayer Leverkusen from Manchester United, finding the back of the net 10 times in 12 games, while Alcacer leads Valencia scorers with five goals in all competitions.
