Jamie Vardy flirts with Real Madrid: 'It's all speculation, it's as simple as that'
Leicester City forward Jamie Vardy is having a Premier League season to remember.
He's scoring goals by the bucket, breaking records along the way, and, for those efforts, was awarded October's Premier League Player of the Month honor. Vardy has also earned an England call-up, too.
Such is the sudden rise of the prolific striker that reports of Spanish giants Real Madrid being interested in his services no longer seems unequivocally a joke - it's now entered the realm of ludicrous, mad even, but not entirely impossible.
"It's all speculation, it's as simple as that," Vardy told Sky Sports, of reports linking him away from King Power Stadium. "I am happy with what I am doing at Leicester and long may that continue."
Will Jamie Vardy's story be one of an English Championship striker turned Real Madrid legend?
It wouldn't be the first ridiculous signing from the Spanish giants.
