With over two weeks remaining on his loan deal with Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace has recalled Welsh international Jonny Williams to Selhurst Park.
And Alan Pardew intends to use him, with Williams replacing Chung-Yong Lee after 80 minutes of the 3-0 home loss to Chelsea on Sunday.
"It was a special moment for me, I hadn't played for Palace in about 16-to-18 months," the midfielder told the club website. "I was delighted to get back out there, it's been a long time."
The 22-year-old's return to the Eagles follows the temporary deal for Randall Williams from ninth-tier Tower Hamlets.
