West Ham's Diego Poyet joins Charlton on loan until end of season
Championship side Charlton Athletic has acquired midfielder Diego Poyet on loan from West Ham until the end of the season, marking a return to the club of his youth.
Poyet, 20, spent the first half of the season with Milton Keynes Dons, where he started 17 league matches.
He will now play out the rest of the campaign at The Valley, where he spent his formative years. Poyet graduated from Chalrton's academy in 2013, and was voted the Addicks' player of the year in 2014.

"I'm very proud to have Diego back," said interim manager Karel Fraeye. "He's a player who is not afraid on the ball and, although he is very young, he has played a lot of games in the Championship already.
"We know that Diego is someone who will play for the shirt, and we have already seen today that everyone in the building is so happy to see him back."
Poyet joined West Ham after his contract with Charlton expired in 2014. He has made 10 appearances for the Hammers, and featured in the Europa League this season before his initial move to Dons.
