Leicester confirms signing of Demarai Gray from Birmingham
Demarai Gray is heading to the Premier League.
On Monday, Leicester City confirmed the signing of Gray from Birmingham City for an undisclosed fee, as the 19-year-old put pen to paper on a four-and-a-half-year contract, keeping him at King Power Stadium until June 2020.

Gray, who joined Birmingham's Blues Academy as an Under-10 player, came through the club's youth ranks and made his professional debut in October 2013, taking the pitch as a substitute against Millwall. He went on to make 78 appearances for Birmingham, during which time he scored his first goal in a fixture versus Blackburn Rovers in April 2014 and netted a 34-minute hat trick against Reading.
"It's been my dream to play in the Premier League since I started playing football so I'm very happy to join the Club," Gray told Foxes Player HD. "It's a great Club. The facilities are great and for a player like me it's an ideal place for me to improve. Meeting all the staff here, it seems like a nice family place, so I think that's perfect for me.
"You can see how well the team has been doing this year and I watch a lot of football so I can see that the way Leicester City play suits my style. I only hear good things about Leicester and I'm looking forward to starting."
Gray will join Leicester's first-team squad for a training session Tuesday as the Foxes prepare to visit Tottenham Hotspur in the third round of the FA Cup on Sunday.
