Blackburn beats Bristol City to Elliott Bennett move
Blackburn has sensationally moved for Elliott Bennett despite Bristol City, which he was representing on loan, appearing to be winning the race for the right wing-back.
Bennett will move for an undisclosed fee, signing a contract which ties him to Blackburn until the end of the 2017-18 campaign.

The 27-year-old was brought to Ashton Gate from Norwich City on a loan deal in October, and manager Steve Cotterill soon wanted him on a permanent basis.
"We're in talks with Norwich and we are exploring all of the options," Cotterill told the Bristol Post last week.
Blackburn has beaten off the Robins though, and Bennett is expected to be drafted straight into the squad for Rovers' FA Cup third-round trip to Newport County on Saturday.
