Manchester City's Ian Lawlor joins Bury on loan

Manchester City shot stopper Ian Lawlor has joined local League One side Bury on loan until the end of the season.

The Ireland Under-21 international was on a temporary spell with fourth-tier Barnet earlier in the campaign, where he showed off his excellent potential between the sticks.

Lawlor replaces Daniel Bachmann, who is due to return to Stoke City following a loan spell, and could be drafted straight into the starting lineup for Bradford City's visit on Saturday.
