Old enough to drink in the United Kingdom, old enough to play in the Premier League.
On Friday, Norwich City signed Ben Godfrey from York City, as the teenage midfielder marked his 18th birthday by inking a three-and-a-half-year contract with the Canaries for an undisclosed fee with "significant add-ons."

Godfrey, who made 15 League Two appearances for York this season, will join Norwich's Academy setup.
"It's massive for me to be given this opportunity and I can't wait to get started," Godfrey said. "I'm delighted to get the deal done, and it happening on my birthday makes it extra special. York gave me the platform to kick on so I owe a lot to them, but it's about what happens next now. Norwich is a huge club and I'm looking forward to developing myself as a player here."
